When I'm Praying For My Marriage, What Should I Be Praying About?

Prayers Every Wife Needs

Hi! For those of you who might not know much about us, we are Pesa and Whitney. Our love story started 17 years ago, and marriage has been a big adventure ever since.

But like we’ve said before, and we’ll say it again, we wish someone had told us how powerful prayer is for married couples.

Over the years, we prayed individually, but not together. We really just didn’t know how to pray for one another, or how to ask the Lord to guide our marriage, until we hit a wall, and prayer was all we had.

After the birth of our third child, I wanted a divorce. The passionate love that my husband and I shared was suddenly beginning to crumble.

I felt like my whole world was falling apart, and I needed to do something, but didn’t know what to do. My husband wanted to reconcile, but I didn’t.

For the next several months, I got down on my knees and prayed, and pretty soon, we started praying together as a couple.

It didn’t matter if we had a good day or a bad day, or if we had just finished a wild and crazy argument - we held hands tightly as we talked to our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

My husband and I are very passionate about helping couples and have decided to share prayers that help build a stronger marriage.

Would you like to know what to pray about for your marriage? Here are 3 quick prayers you can get started with!

Prayer #1: A Prayer Of Thankfulness

DEAR LORD, I give thanks for the precious person you’ve brought into my life. God I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for [ husband / wife’s name ].

Being married is a blessing, and I can clearly see that. Please help me to always remember to be grateful and to show [husband / wife’s name] my appreciation for [him/her] always. Lord, again I thank you for bringing us together, in Jesus name, amen.

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” - Psalm 107:1.

Through the ups, downs and challenges of everyday life we can easily forget to recognize our spouse as a gift. Anyone who is married, is truly blessed, and needs to give thanks for their precious spouse.

Be sure to always thank God for the fact that He has blessed you with the gift of being married. I’m probably starting to sound like a broken record, but just remember, there are people all over the world who spend their entire life searching for that special someone, but never actually get to enjoy a lasting relationship with that special someone.

Also, you should take time each day not only to thank God for the fact that you’re married, but also take time each day to let your spouse know how much you appreciate having them there with you.

Prayer #2: A Prayer For Love

DEAR LORD, I give thanks for the precious person you’ve brought into my life. God I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for [ husband / wife’s name ].

Being married is a blessing, and I can clearly see that. Please help me to always remember to be grateful and to show [husband / wife’s name] my appreciation for [him/her] always. Lord, again I thank you for bringing us together, in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer #3: A Prayer For Oneness

DEAR LORD, I thank you for [spouse’s name]. Please help us to remain as one, and let us avoid distractions that may cause a division between us. Guard our marriage from anyone or anything that is divisive. Help us to achieve intimacy and to not keep any secrets from one another. I pray that oneness with [spouse’s name] is one of my top priorities and please lead me away from any activities that would cause us to grow apart.

“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” - Mark 10:9.

What's important about this is that a husband and wife are no longer two, and that they become one. This is oneness, or as some people call it, wholeness.

One of the ways a couple can achieve oneness, is through intimacy. Intimacy is not only physical or sexual.

Real intimacy is the ability for a couple to share their innermost thoughts, feelings, concerns and desires with one another.

In your day to day busy schedule and routines, always strive for oneness. Call your spouse, text, and just remind them how much they mean to you. Even when you don't feel like it. Your effort matters, and of course, it does make a difference.

The Money Isn't In the List... It's In The Products That You Sell To Your Email List

First, there's no money in the list. There is only money in the products that you promote, just like the retailer down the street. They are not being paid by simply being open and having customers walk in the door... No, no, no! It's ALL about the products they sell that make the money.

If you are just an affiliate "making money" by wasting money on advertising and getting very little ROI than you have to learn this one secret today.. or your business might be gone tomorrow.
